Don Duchovny is an outstanding young stallion obtaining scores over 75% under Matthew Archibald. He has three outstanding paces with a serious talent for collection. Donny has a wonderful nature and a terrific attitude to his work - with trainability and talent we anticipate a big future in dressage.

Don Duchovny's sire Don Frederico was the reserve champion of the 1999 stallion performance test in Adelheidsdorf and the clear winner in the rideability section. His rideability and outstanding gaits were of high regard. His outstanding dressage index reflected his abilities for the dressage ring. Scoring highlights include 9 for character, 9 for temperament, 9 trainability, 9 for conformation, 9.5 for rideability, 7.67 for free jumping, 9 for walk, 9.33 for trot and 9.33 for canter. Don Frederico has quickly proved himself as a sire with 11 licensed sons including the impressive Don Ricoss the 30 Day test winner of rideability, 34 state premium mares and 33 auction horses. Further back in his sire line pedigree we fine one of the greatest dressage sires of all time the incomparable Donnerhall. We also find Consul one of the most important Trakehner sires. Consul was DLG champion in Frankfurt and was premium at the Trakehner licensing in 1982.

Don Duchovny's dam, Verband elite mare Goldi, was born in 1984 and is dark bay in colour. Goldi has had four licensed sons, three state premium mares (who all won their mare shows), a premium filly foal and an auction foal. Due to her breeding record she is a Praedikat - Stute (Elite-status) she has earned 145 points. Goldi's pedigree includes Goldstern (Gotthard/Waidmannsdank xx) Prinz Gaylord (Perlkoenig I/Goldberg) and Liguster (Intermezzo/Hassan ox). Goldi's sire Goldstern was one of the most influential sons of Gotthard, he was privately owned and stood in Oldenburg. Goldi's dam Nixe is a state premium mare and produced Sunny Boy (by Salut) who was shown in Dressage, Jumping and Three Day Eventing. In the second generation we find some refining breeding through Ligutser (Trakhener) and Hassan (Arabian) who stood at Zweibruecken stud.

In the third generation we find Prinz Gaylord a son of the Champion Stallion Perlkonig. Prinz Gaylord was approved for breeding by Hannoverian, Oldenburg, ISR and Westfalen. The dam of Prinz Gaylord, Golden Gate, is bred from the Gotthard line, legendary producer of jumpers. Equivalent to the fame of Gotthard is the Wesfalen sire, Papayer xx, father of Paradox, the biggest producer of jumping champions in Westphalia. Prinz Gaylord is also descended from the Hanoverian Lavendal, producer of many Hanoverian jumpers. Prinz Gaylord's dam, golden Gate, was a Grand Prix jumper who won more than 30 European jumping championships and was declared best Westfalen jumping horse at the 1977 Jubilee show in Munster. The grandmother of Prinz Gaylord, Panama, was an International Grand Prix jumping champion and was Jumping Champion of all Germany. Prinz Gaylord is a proven producer of jumpers and has himself competed in all jumping levels through Grand Prix. He was declared Germany's Leading Sire for 1983 by the German FN. He has sired many successful jumpers, including the international Grand Prix horse Prinz Gaylord and the approved stallions Prinz Charming, a top 10 finisher in the International Jumper Futurity West Coast Finals in 1995.
