R&B is a genuine black stallion who has finished his 70 day test at Prussendorf in Germany. Scored 9.0 in character, ability to work, and cross country jumping and 8.33 in free jumping. Number one yearling in the USA in 1999. Winner of 5 consecutive Novice tests scoring between 71.5% and 76.67%. Winner at Elemenatry level at Treehaven Melbourne Cup day scoring 70.1%. First one day event at Werribee on September 6-7th of which he won the preliminary on an incredible 18 Faults. He scored 89.25% in the dressage and went clear in the Cross Country and the Showjumping. Scored 79% in the 6 year old Young Horse Qualifier. Rhythm and Blues sire Olympic Ferro was the Dutch 1990 performance test winner. He competed at the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games successfully winning silver in the team dressage at the and finished 5th overall. Rhythm and Blues' dam received her elite status from the KWPN. She was a successful dressage horse up to third level. She was ranked number two in the nation for two years running. Her sire Argus is the only horse in the world that was simultaneously successful in both Grand Prix jumping and international dressage competitions. In 1988, Argus sired more 'Premium 1' foals than any other breeding stallion in the US. In two breeding seasons, the stallion has sired more premium 1 foals than all other stallions during their entire breeding careers in the United States. In 1989, four out of the ten highest placed foals at the selection were sired by Argus. At his German testing Argus has a jumping index of 129 and a dressage index of 131. ARGUS' sports results include 1st place PCHSA Futures Finals for Jumping, and in 1989 finished in the top 5 in his first Grand Prix. He continued to prove himself as a jumper when he won the Grand Prix at Showpark of Delmar and the Sundance Grand Prix at the Arizona Winner Circuit in 1991. As a dressage horse, Argus held many titles including 1989 CDA Reserve Champion Fourth Level Horse of the Year and in 1990 and 1991 was one of the only horses to be competing successfully in both Grand Prix Jumping and FEI Dressage. Also on the dam line we find the stallion Saluut who is by the Holsteiner Ronald. Ronald produced 8 international jumping horses and has also produced the approved holsteiner stallion Rantare. Rantare sired the Grand Prix jumper ATLAS. Ronald's sire Ramiro Z has sired 47 international jumpers, the most famous of which was the mare Ratina Z! Ramiro Z is also the leading producer of jumping horses in the last ten years. He is also known as a leading producer of quality mares including Zinia, keur pref (dam of Harmony). Zinia produced Dinia who produced I-premium second ring stallion imported to the USA and licensed by the NA/WPN. |
